Ayurveda Morning Routine

  • Wake up before the sun, or as the sun is rising
  • Wake up around the same time every day
  • Meditate or Practice Yoga
  • Pray or say affirmations
  • Walk 10 minutes toward the sun (beneficial for our mood)
  • Scrape tongue
  • Drink warm water with lemon
  • Dry Brush or Oil Massage

Afternoon Routine

  • Stay calm and cool
  • Eat a big lunch
  • Rest and digest

Evening Routine

  • Eat dinner early
  • Walk, Practice Yoga, Exercise
  • Drink warm spiced milk
  • Go to bed with the sunset or shortly after (no later than 11)
  • Say prayers or affirmations
